Minimizing Bad Lighting
This Portrait was taken outside, in uncontrolled, natural light. It suffers from problems typical of that setting.
Dapples of pure sunlight penetrate the shade of the tree, resulting in overbright spots. A highway is visible through the gap in the trees on the left, and the man’s head at the top right is nearly hidden by his unfortunate posture.

In the final photograph, the light dapples, which lend atmosphere, are controlled but not eliminated. I corrected the colors, moved the man's head, and placed a second tree on the left to hide the highway and add symetry to the background. I also cropped the photo to better emphasize the subject.
